Michael Alvarado, one of two suspects in the deadly shooting on I-480 in Bedford Heights, has pleaded guilty to obstructing justice. The jury trial for Michael Roman, who is accused of aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault, began Monday. Alvarados' sentencing date has not yet been scheduled. The shooting occurred on the morning of Jan. 1, 2025. The victim was identified as Johndiel Rivera, a 19-year-old father who was driving home from work when a vehicle driven by Roman allegedly approached.
