Hundreds of people gathered for "No Kings" protests across Maryland, marking the third round of demonstrations since June and October of 2026. The demonstrations were held in response to President Donald Trump's military actions and global conflict, raising concerns about the state of American government. Demonstrators held signs reading "power to the people," "abolish ICE," and "no kings since 1776" throughout the day. One protester, Rick, compared the Donald Trump presidency to that of predecessors like Warren G. Harding and Andrew Jackson, predicted that the president's decision-making will impact the upcoming election cycle. Protests were held across several locations in the county, including Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Rockville and Silver Spring.
