Girl hurt in pedestrian collision with police SUV in Kansas City

A young girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a police patrol vehicle in Kansas City. The vehicle was involved in a non-emergency situation when the girl ran into the roadway from between two parked vehicles. She was rushed to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The two officers involved in the incident were not injured.
