Rishab Nanduri, a 17-year-old junior at Oakton High School, has launched a new interactive platform called MoneyQuest to help students understand personal finance. The game was developed after Nandur found the lacklustre study resources for the topic uninspiring. The interactive platform uses an outer space theme and includes competitive leaderboards and eight different "planets" representing critical money skills. Nanduran has registered MoneyQuest as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to ensure the resource remains free. He plans to scale the project by recruiting volunteers and reaching out to local schools to expand the game's user base.
