Disgraced British actor John Alford, known for his roles in UK TV series "London's Burning" and "Grange Hill," has been found dead in prison at the age of 54. Alford was in custody following a series of sex offenses connected to two teenage girls and was sentenced to eight years and six months in January this year. His death was confirmed by a prison spokesperson. The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. At the time of his death, Alford had only months into serving out a sentence related to the assaults of two young females.
