Woman, Who Lost Engagement Ring While Running a Half-Marathon, Gets Unexpected Offer

Isle Lahn-Schroeder, a social worker at Lenox Hill Hospital, lost her engagement ring while running the 2026 New York City Half Marathon on March 15. She believes the ring was given to her fiancé, Noah Weisbart, on Halloween last year and had been stored in a pocket for safekeeping when the race ended. Despite numerous attempts to track down the ring, including checking at the race's lost-and-find center and visiting a local police precinct, Lahn. The owner of Big Apple Jewels, Zak Nissanov, has offered to make a replica of the lost ring without pay.
