Artemis II mission includes MIT-developed technology

The aircraft behind the Artemis II mission around the Moon, which will carry a piece of Massachusetts, will include technology developed by the MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts. The Orion spacecraft also includes an optical communication system that can produce 4K video in space during the roughly 10-day flight. Researchers believe the system will play a significant role in deep space exploration.
