With Seil Road Bridge Closed, Shorewood Police Reveal 1 True Detour Route For You To Use

The Seil Road Bridge in Shorewood, Illinois, has been permanently closed, making it impossible for motorists to cross the DuPage River near the Seile Road Park. A new two-lane bridge will be built on adjacent land and will be completed in 2027. The official detour route for motorists is the southwest frontage road to Mound Road.
