The Farmington Cultural District will host the free, four-hour outdoor event along Main Street on May 9. The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Over 40 artists will create works live, including painting, illustration, graffiti, sculpture, and wool felting. The open-format experience allows visitors to move freely along the route, which is intended to accommodate families with different interests and mobility needs. Additional programming includes children's activities led by Barney Library and The Village Nursery School, live performances by Anne Cubberly’s Giant Puppets, Chorus Angelicus, and the Farmington High School Chamber Orchestra.
