Security efforts increase; construction grows as Pittsburgh prepares for NFL draft

The construction of the NFL draft site in Pittsburgh is increasing as public safety efforts increase ahead of the event. The increase in security efforts is a concern as the NFL Draft CAMPus brings in an estimated 700,000 people. Public safety is a priority issue as public access to public information is limited. Major road and parking closures are expected to occur throughout the week leading up to the draft. The public safety team is working with the NFL to roll out several road closures, including one from 279 to the NORTH SHORE, and another from the South.
