More ‘crazy’ hours-long waits at NYC-area airports amid Congress funding fail

Travelers faced another day of long security lines at local airports and across the country due to Congress's inability to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Passengers were forced to arrive at LaGuardia Airport in Queens hours earlier than the three-hour mark for national flights, causing the lines to stretch around the airport. Meanwhile, TSA agents have lost out on paychecks and are calling out sick or quitting the job due to the impasse.
