President Donald Trump has reendored Republican Colorado Rep. Jeff Hurd, less than a month after he withdrew his endorsement over Hurd's vote against the president's tariffs. The announcement came after Hurd’s primary opponent, Hope Scheppelman, agreed to drop out of the race to join his administration. The president had previously endorsed Hurd for reelection in October 2025, but unendorsed him and backed Scheppman in February. Hurd is currently running unopposed for the Republican seat in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District and is expected to win it on June 30.
