The weather forecast includes a potential for mixed showers across the northern valley with a near-stationary front along the International Border, resulting in a strong temperature gradient due to this front. The front will drop south late in the day Wednesday and shower chances increase, with rain and freezing rain expected to change to mix/wet flakes by Thursday morning. Despite this, we have raised the First Alert Weather Day for Wednesday PM into Thursday morning, raising concerns about potential freezing rain and light icing on roads. The warmest day of the forecast is expected to occur as we start the week with temperatures rising into the 50s and 60s. The last weekend of March is looking to be a pleasant last weekend, with temperatures expected to remain cool.
