Former San Francisco Giants players Jeff Kent and Carlos Beltran are set to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2026, alongside longtime Braves center fielder Andruw Jones. Kent, who played for three teams before he arrived in San Francisco and two more after he left as a free agent, was part of the Giants' best 1-2 hitting partnership with Barry Bonds for six seasons. Beltran, a six-time All-Star in 2011, was brought to San Francisco to bolster their World Series title hopes. Kent hit more home runs as a second baseman than anyone in MLB history (351), and 171 of those came with the Giants. The Beltran trade, which initially cost the Giants cash and a minor league pitcher, is considered one of the best trades in franchise history.
