Washington state is suing President Trump over his attempt to give the federal government more control over vote-by-mail elections. The president's March 31 executive order aims to prevent the U.S. Postal Service from sending federal election ballots to anyone not on a federally approved list, which state officials argue would disenfranchise many Washington voters. Washington Attorney General Nick Brown is leading a lawsuit challenging the order, which he calls "patently unconstitutional".
