Persimmon has acquired North American distribution rights for Nicola Rinciari's indie film, A Mosquito in the Ear, starring Jake Lacy and Nazanin Boniadi. The film will be released in select theaters this spring after it premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The cast includes Ruhi Pal and Emily Dillard. The director is inspired by the story of a family who travels to India to bring home their newly adopted daughter, who then refuses to join them on the return journey. The deal was negotiated by U.S. and negotiated by the Sunde.
