Apple will have a product guy as CEO again

John Ternus, Apple's SVP of hardware engineering, is set to become the next CEO of the company. While outgoing CEO Tim Cook was praised for his focus on logistics, Ternos' history as a product person. He has been prominent in Apple's public appearances announcing its latest products and has had a 25-year tenure at Apple. His tenure spans both the Steve Jobs and Tim Cook eras. In his SVP role, he oversaw the development of the original AirPods launched in 2016. He also led to significant change in Apple’s product lineup, including the introduction of the iPhone Air and the transition of the MacBook Pro to USB-C.
