Teen, 18, Was Frustrated with Potholes in His Michigan Community, So He Went to Home Depot to Fix Them Himself

A frustrated 18-year-old resident of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, Ali, was so frustrated with the lack of maintenance in his community that he decided to fix some potholes himself at Home Depot. He purchased four buckets of asphalt from the store and used it as a tool to fill the pothole. The video of his potho-filling process was viewed as a viral hit in the community. Despite the lacklustre maintenance, the city has been awarded a $2.6 million grant to fix all of Cherry Hill from Gully-Inkster, with the project set to begin on June 1st.
