A Texas woman, Cassandra Lange, has confessed to murdering her mother and stepfather with an accomplice and disposing of their bodies in a ravine. Lange and Joby Williams were charged with capital murder in connection with the deaths of her mother, Cherry Rehbein, and stepdad, Stephen, 58. Police found evidence of foul play when they arrived at Stephen's home for a welfare check on April 8 after he failed to show up for work. They used vehicle tracking technology to identify Stephen's car and found Lange, Williams, and two children aged six years and one month old inside the vehicle. The two women have been placed on $1,000,000 bonds and the children are being placed with Child Protective Services.
