The agency responsible for legal immigration, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which provides legal immigration assistance, has sent experts to its offices around the country to investigate potential citizenship cases. The Justice Department has also offered possible case examples for individuals who pose a risk to national security, engage in war crimes or torture, and commit Medicaid or Medicare fraud.
