Mass Exodus: Swalwell’s Senior Staffers Quit As Accusations, Evidence Build

Senior staff members for Rep. Eric Swalwell, both in his congressional office and at his gubernatorial campaign office, resigned following several former staffers' allegations of sexual misconduct and rape. The senior staffers released a joint statement expressing their disgust and intention to stand with the former staffer who accused Swalw. They also suggested that some junior staffers might not have the financial resources to leave their positions. However, a video surfaced showing the congressman forcibly kissing a woman, reportedly a sex worker, emerged shortly after the allegations were made public.
