Shaun Murphy and Wu Yize level at 4-4 in the first session of the World Championship final at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. The match was briefly interrupted by a spectator who jumped over the barrier and was escorted out of the venue by security. Wu, who is aiming to replace Murphy as the second-youngest Crucible champion, had an early advantage with runs of 51 and 61. Despite this, Murphy managed to secure a 4-3 lead with a run of 85.
