One critical following east Wichita shooting

A shooting has left one person critically injured in east Wichita, according to a Sedgwick County 911 Dispatch supervisor. This is the 8th shooting within a two-week period in the city. The incident occurred near Lincoln and Edgemoor. The police have called for an end to the violence.
