Developers have unveiled new site plans for a city plaza and green space near downtown Raleigh, as construction begins on the automated parking garage for the City Gateway project. The plaza will provide an open space for pedestrians at the center of the development, which will include over 1,400 residential units, office space, retail, and a 200-key hotel. The garage's robotic lifting bays can also accommodate electric vehicle charging. The project is supported by Firstfloor, which supports the city's goal to promote sustainability within city limits.
