The Ridge Road Run: Annual 5K Unites Communities To Raise Awareness For Suicide Prevention

The Ridge Road Run 5K, a student-led initiative hosted by three area high schools, will take place on May 3 at Red Bank Regional High School in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The 5K aims to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention and student wellness initiatives. Each year, funds are split between the three schools and used to support programs focused on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and student wellbeing initiatives. The race, which started in 2018, also helps bridge the gap for mental health programs and presentations that schools may not be able to fund otherwise.
