Harry and Whitney Spruill were killed in a collision with a grain truck on April 1 in Washington County, North Carolina. The couple is survived by their two children, a 6-month-old girl and a kindergarten-aged girl. Harry, who was allegedly driving at the time of the accident, is believed to have crossed the centerline and collided with the empty grain truck. A GoFundMe campaign started by a friend of the family described the tragedy as "an unimaginable tragedy." The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses for both parents, medical bills for the infant, and ongoing costs to care for and raise the children. The children will be placed in the care of Whitney's parents.
