A man, believed to have been speeding when he lost control of his car and hit a Port Orchard police patrol vehicle, causing it to cross the center line. The 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The Washington State Patrol is investigating whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. The officer was not injured.
