Cameron McCloud, the mastermind of Cure for Paranoia, has been recognized and recognized at South by Southwest (SXSW '25), over a decade into his musical career. This recognition came after McCloud's NPR Tiny Desk Contest video submission, which attracted attention shortly before the festival. McCloud traces this recognition to his first time at South By, when he attended the festival 10 years ago and networked his way into a seat at Childish Gambino's performance. His third album, Work of A.R.T., is released by McCloud and aims to tell the story of his mental health journey and his transformation from bipolar to paranoid schizophrenia.
