Tony Award-winning actress Laura Benanti was surprised when a plane full of teenage theater students failed to recognize her on a recent flight. She had estimated that about 83% of her fellow passengers were members of a youth theater group and not one of them knew who she was. Despite her efforts to introduce herself to the group, the response was met with indifference.
