UNC Charlotte has hired Wes Miller, a former North Carolina Tar Heels basketball player, as its next head coach. Miller, who has previously coached in North Carolina for 15 seasons, was fired from the University of Cincinnati after five seasons but did not make the NCAA tournament in any of those years. Despite his recent dismissal, many believe Miller was considered one of the better coaches on the market. He will take over after the 49ers fired Aaron Fearne on March 17.
