Industry veteran Ryszard Chojnowski has claimed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 developer Warhorse Studios is working on an open-world Lord of the Rings RPG. The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) is reportedly contributing $100 million to the project. The game is reportedly designed to compete with Hogwarts Legacy and will be developed by an Embracer Studio. However, outside of ADIO, Embridacer, and Revenge Studios, it is unclear who else is involved in the project yet. Despite this, critics should take this information with caution, given Embridic's reputation for cancelling games.
