This rumored MacBook Pro upgrade has me excited for the overhaul, and it isn't OLED

Apple is expected to unveil its first MacBook Pro redesign since 2021, with features expected to include OLED, touch displays, M6 Pro and M6 Max chips, a Dynamic Island cutout, and much more. However, I'm more excited about the lighter, thinner MacBook Pro models. This could make them more portable. Despite enhancements to the product, Apple hasn't yet released a new version in 2025 due to delays in OLED technology. The new MacBook Pro will not be available to the base model, but likely to be released for higher-end trims.
