A Florida woman, Nicolette Keough, has been charged with two counts of felony criminal mischief for allegedly intentionally urinating on furniture and household items inside two Airbnb homes in downtown Pensacola. The incident, which reportedly left items ruined, was not accidental and was filmed and uploaded to an adult content platform to generate income. The total damage is estimated at around $3,000. Both properties were owned by the same host. Despite these charges, Airbnb has removed the guest from the platform and is assisting the host through its AirCover protection program. Insurance experts have advised against relying on Airbnb for protection, but also on documentation and insurance.
