Alberta Proposes Relaxing of Trade Rules on Consumer Goods From Other Provinces

The Alberta government has proposed legislation to reduce regulations and simplify trade with other provinces. The Interprovincial Trade Mutual Recognition Act, also known as Bill 21, aims to establish a legal structure for the execution of the interprovincial trade agreement that was signed in November. The proposal is supported by Premier Danielle Smith and Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade, and Immigration, Joseph Schow.
