"High-T Department of War": Hegseth pushes "gender-affirming care" for soldiers

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced new, annual testosterone check-ups for male service members over the age of 30, and will offer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to soldiers found to have low testosterone levels. The move is seen as a way to invest in the United States' "most decisive tactical advantage" for its soldiers. Critics have questioned the hypocrisy of providing TRT for aging men in the military while excluding transgender soldiers who have undergone similar treatments.
