At least one person is dead in New York City after a speeding SUV driven by a 49-year-old man plowed into several vehicles in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. The Hyundai Tucson hit two passersby and then hit several other vehicles, including a New York Police Department vehicle and a tractor trailer, both unoccupied. The two bicyclists were transported to different hospitals, with one pronounced dead at the hospital and the other in critical condition. The driver is currently in police custody and charges are pending. It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol played any role in the tragedy.
