Samaritan's Purse has announced an expansion of its rebuild program to help those affected by Hurricane Helene. The Boone-based Christian relief organization will add 19 new locations across four states to aid in reconstruction efforts. Despite a year and a half after the devastating hurricane, many families are still struggling to receive proper long-term recovery needs. The organization has completed 26 new homes and delivered more than 80 mobile homes and major repairs on more than 100 houses. It is still accepting applications for rebuilds and other long-lasting recovery needs in the following areas.
