Nicholas Price, a 38-year-old man from Roseville, has been sentenced to nearly 14 years in prison for causing a death while fleeing police. Price was wanted by police for a suspected violent domestic incident and was driving after his license had been revoked. He pleaded guilty to causing death by fleeing police and crashing his SUV into another car on Dec. 13, 2024. The driver of the other car, 61-year old Apostle L, later died. With credit for time in jail since his arrest, Price is expected to serve slightly more than nine years and the balance on supervised release. Court records show that Price's criminal history includes four convictions for driving after having his license revoked or suspended.
