Animal control officers in Michigan have rescued 84 cats from a single-wide mobile home where they found many of the animals were hoarding. The Macomb County Animal Control Chief, Jeff Randazzo, stated that the owner of the cats did the right thing by coming to the station and asking for help. The situation involved many pregnant and nursing cats, which will require additional resources over the next few weeks. The rescue was assisted by rescue partners including the Oakland County Animal Care, A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue, Friends for Animals Metro Detroit and Eastpointe Animal Control.
