Day'Ron Sharpe, a Nets player who returned from surgery, plans to continue showing growth next season and improve his body. Speaking to the local media for the first time since surgery, Sharpe stated that he feels like he could do better but has shown growth this season. He averaged career highs of 8.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and shot a team-best 60.1 percent overall. Sharpe has been working to reshape his body to become more explosive vertically and to play more extended minutes, potentially competing with Nic Claxton for a starting role. His offensive rebound percentage (18.5) is the best in league history for players who've played 200 games.
