Downtown businesses share early impact after Little Rock curfew takes effect

The newly implemented youth curfew in downtown Little Rock has received mixed reactions from River Market businesses. The curfew restricts anyone under 18 from being out between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., unless accompanied by a parent or guardian or meeting certain exceptions, such as work. While some business owners remain skeptical about the impact of the curfew, many have reported noticeable changes, including a decrease in teenagers in the area. Some managers are pushing for the curfew to extend beyond summer months and become a year-round policy.
