Prosecutors file additional charges for man accused in ISP sergeant's attempted murder

The 46-year-old man previously arrested for attacking an Indiana State Police sergeant, Larry Webster II, has been formally charged with attempted murder. The incident occurred on Nov. 19, when witnesses reported seeing Webster's pickup truck intentionally hit a minivan and run over the driver of the vehicle twice, causing serious injuries. Webster was later found walking around the corner of the road and attacked the sergeant, causing a broken shoulder. The charges have been filed in both Ripley and Jefferson counties, with a hearing rescheduled for an unspecified date.
