Japanese designer Nigo, known for his iconic streetwear designs, has opened an exhibition at the Design Museum in London, which will showcase his three-decade career. The exhibition, which includes over 700 objects from his personal archive, includes a recreation of his teenage bedroom in Maebashi, Gunma, where he was born in 1970. He later adopted the name Nigo as a tribute to his mentor, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and has been the artistic director of the French label Kenzo since 2021. Despite his extensive influence on creative tastemakers and collaborators, including Pharrell Williams, Ye, Kim Jones, and the late Virgil Abloh, the exhibition also includes collaborations with brands like Louis Vuitton and Uniqlo.
