Southington Teens Honored For Near-Drowning Rescue

Three Southington teenagers have been recognized for their role in saving a friend's life during a near-drowning incident. The American Red Cross Connecticut chapter announced that the teens received Lifesaving Awards during a Scouting America Court of Honor ceremony. The teens were credited with retrieving their friend from a swimming pool and performing CPR following the incident.
