Sepideh Moafi, a prominent actress and actress, was approached by her first agent to change her name early in her career and refused. Her parents came to the US as Iranian refugees before she was born and she has since had a varied career, including starring as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi on HBO Max’s The Pitt and appearing on shows such as The Simpsons.
