Severe Storms, Tornado Risk Across Detroit Area Tuesday

Several waves of severe thunderstorms are possible across the metro Detroit area, with forecasters predicting heavy downpours, large hail, winds up to 60mph, and isolated tornadoes. All of southeastern Michigan is under a slight (level 2) risk for severe weather. More rain is expected across the region on Wednesday and Thursday, with some areas potentially exceeding 2 inches of rainfall.
