Lancaster County changes polling locations for 9,000 voters ahead of May primary election

Lanchen County Election Commissioner, Todd Wiltgen, has announced new polling locations for eight precincts in preparation for the May 12 statewide primary election. The changes affect approximately 9,000 of the 207,000 eligible voters affected. Notices were sent out to all affected voters within the week. Over 35,000 voters have requested early vote ballots for the upcoming election. These changes are not an acceptable form of identification for the Nebraska voter ID requirement, which was implemented in 2000.
