The Artemis II crew members have released their first video messages from space, giving a glimpse of deep-space travel. The astronauts describe the view they saw outside the ship's windows as "the most spectacular moment" of their journey. The fifth member of the crew is a small, white moon plushie created by 8-year-old Lucas Ye, inspired by the Apollo 8 mascot. The team also addressed a jammed $30 million issue during the broadcast.
