Madi Hicks helps Bison golfers bring the heat, take home record from Arizona meet

North Dakota State's women's golf team won the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate at Wigwam Golf Club in Arizona last week, setting a record-setting tournament for the team. The team managed to score the lowest 54-hole tournament score by 18 shots and finish with a score of 10-under 842. Senior Madi Hicks finished second with an 8-under 205, one shot behind University of South Florida's Regina Plascencia. Hicks' performance also contributed to her having the lowest scoring average among freshmen in the Summit League.
