The No. 1-seeded Michigan Wolverines are set to play against the No. 6-seed Tennessee Volunteers in the Elite Eight, marking their first Elite 8 since 2021. The game will take place on Sunday, March 28 at the United Center in Chicago. The winner of the game will advance to the Final Four, marking Michigan's first appearance since 2018. The Wolverines have already made history in their Sweet 16 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, improving to 34-3. They also broke former head coach John Beilein's record for most wins in a season (33). Second-year head coach Dusty May became the seventh coach to lead Michigan to an Elite Eight. The team's success has been driven by both production and efficiency this season.
